After a tooth extraction, you can generally get a dental implant either immediately on the same day as the extraction or after waiting 3 to 6 months to allow your mouth to recover and heal.

Veneers are considered a long-lasting cosmetic solution but not truly permanent. They usually last 10–15 years, after which they may need replacement. The natural tooth underneath is often slightly reshaped to fit the veneer, so once placed, veneers generally cannot be undone. Getting veneers is usually not painful. Some mild sensitivity or discomfort may occur during and after the procedure, especially if tooth enamel is removed, but it’s typically minimal and temporary.
